The Stoa of Attalos. |
The stoa was kind of like a mall. Each story had two aisles and twenty-one rooms (shops) lining the western wall. The rooms of both stories were lighted and vented through doorways and small windows located on the back wall. There were stairways leading up to the second story at each end of the stoa. |
They rebuilt this one and now it's a museum. |
They had some incidents with people posting pictures the Greek government didn't like of guys making fun of statues so they ruled you couldn't take photos with a statue. |

This is the only photo we took inside. They had lines on the walls to show where each store was. It was pretty neat! |
