Ski Trip '09

A hook pulled you up the hill while you sat in your tube. These are Bill's feet, of course.

Kris' feet.

We couldn't get any pictures of us coming down the hill. It was snowing a lot and we were getting really wet.

We could only get photos of people in line and people getting towed up the hill.

We had a blast!

After we had some hot chocolate, it was time to leave.

After being parked outside for almost 12 hours, our car was a little bit buried under snow.

There was quite a bit of scraping to do.

Day 5: New Year's Eve. We were going to sleep in but we were awakened by knocking on the door at 7am. We left the car lights on all night. Luckily, our battery was still alive. Our nice neighbor was letting us know. We were SO glad we didn't have to have the car jumped!

We went driving around. This is the famous barn that you always see associated with Steamboat Springs.

We were kinda glad we weren't going skiing. The clouds were hanging very low over the slopes. At some points during the day you couldn't even see the mountain.
