The day was so pretty and we had some time so Ellen and I went for a walk to see all of the snow before it melted.

We just loved this house. We could see it from our hotel. We talked to the lady who lived there. She said the house was over 100 years old.

The trees were so pretty with all of the snow. They looked like flocked Christmas trees.

The church looked especially pretty with the snow.

We thought the entrance to the bike trail was cute.

We came across this Veteran's Memorial along the bike trail.

More of the memorial.

See how the memorial doesn't look that buried by snow? I thought the snow wasn't that deep. So, I tried walking up to it.

My first step went almost knee deep.

I tried walking a little farther in.

The snow just got deeper and deeper. I bailed.

A good shot of the light house in Port Washington.
