Parthenon Athens

Us at the Parthenon!!!

All of this stuff was stacked next to the Parthenon. This must have been the restoration office.

The Theatre of Dionysus Eleuthereus is a major open-air theatre and one of the earliest preserved in Athens. It was used for festivals in honor of the god Dionysus. It could seat up to 17,000 spectators.

Not sure what the canon was from. It was on the side of the Parthenon and the mobile office.

We guessed these tracks were built to move pieces of marble. They looked pretty old.

You can see just how big that one piece is.

The side of the Erechtheion (The building with the Porch of the Maidens).
