2013 Big Adventure
Mykonos - P.69
The Church of Panagia Paraportiani. Its name literally means "Our Lady of the Side Gate" in Greek because its entrance was in the side gate of the entrance to the Kastro neighborhood. They started building this church in 1425 and it wasn't finished until the 17th century. It is actually five separate churches attached all together: the four churches (dedicated to Saint Eustathios, Saint Sozon, Saints Anargyroi and Saint Anastasia) are all on the ground and then the fifth church has been built on top of them. |

Our tour ended here. We were free to roam around the city until we had to be back on the ship. |
Bill took some really good shots and we started walking back to the ship. |
After 7 hours and all that walking, our feet hurt! |
After dinner we did another Movies Under the Stars. |
