I think Game of Thrones also filmed in Dubrovnik. If you watch the show you might recognize some of the photos.

At the top of the photo is the Jesuit Church of St. Ignatius Loyola.

There are three circular and 14 quadrangular towers along the wall.

St. Lawrence Fortress, often called "Dubrovnik's Gibraltar." It was built to resist Venetian rule. The Venetians tried to build a fort on the same spot in the 11th century. The Croatians built the fort in just 3 months. When the Venetian's ship arrived with materials to build the fort, they were turned back.
