Our next stop was Trsteno.

Two Oriental Plane Trees located at the entrance of Trsteno are over 500 years old. The ancient trees are both nearly 200 feet tall and their trunks are 16 feet in diameter.

It's hard to see just how big the tree is from the photo. The area around it was fenced off after a branch fell off and killed a French tourist so there's nothing near it for scale.
