It rained for two days straight so we decided to get dive certified instead of just taking a resort course. It took about 1 1/2 days to take the tests (we mostly studied in the bar). This photo is the morning before we left for Cozumel for our first dive.
We had to get up at 6 am and it took one hour by bus and one hour by boat to get there.

The place we dove is a national park. This reef is called the Palancar Reef.
There were supposed to be nurse sharks around but we didn't see any.
We did see a lot of lobsters. This one was huge.
