A good shot of a jackal.

The jackal and some warthogs. The jackals would be more entertaining than we could imagine.

A little farther down the road, two lion sisters were eating.

We got very close.

One sister heard another lion in the distance so she stopped eating and walked away.

She walked right by our car!

Evidently she hurt herself. You can see some cuts on her back leg.

Those jackals that we saw earlier came where these lions were and wanted what they had. So, they started bothering the lion that was still eating.

They irritated her so much that the lion that was laying by our car walked over there to see what was going on.

Then the jackals started circling the one lion, just irritating her.

Now the second lion, the lion that was eating, came over to help out.
