It was getting late so we headed back to the car.

We got back to the car and realized that Bill left his credit card in one of the stores so, he walked all the way back.

We tried to get out of the parking lot by paying with our credit card. It wouldn't take it. This machine hated us. Bill had to walk all the way back to the base of the escalators to pay for the parking. That gave us a ticket to finally get out of the parking lot.
