The roads/walkways were VERY steep.

We found a restaurant we liked and we got out of the sun for a little bit.

We didn't even have to go up on a balcony for a nice view. This was at street level.

The roads were so steep the long, thin stones were raised for footholds.

We walked over to Siena's Duomo.

We saw this a lot, especially in Rome. Buildings that were being restored and the scaffolding was covered with a picture of the building.

We didn't go inside.
