The big atatue to the right of the center of the picture is the Neptune Fountain in the palazzo Vecchio.

Our next stop was the Accademia museum. We were late again, of course.

On the way we passed by the Duomo or the Santa Maria del Fiore.

Since we were late, we planned on coming back to see inside.

No pictures were allowed in the Accademia. The Statue of David was amazing! We headed back to the Duomo.

Right in front of the Duomo is the Battistero di San Giovanni. It's believed to be the oldest building in Florence.

The doors of the Battistero di San Giovanni are called the "Gates of Paradise".
