Friday, Day 5. We had the morning to ourselves so we woke up a little late and headed out.

We passed this every day. It's an excavation of ancient Rome. It was all below street level.

It was probably uncovered when they built either the road or the building above it.

We headed to the Colosseum again.

We paid for a tour and then planned on exploring on our own afterwards.

This guy was cracking us up. He was posing for his friends.

The tour worked out great. It got us past the long line to get in.

We didn't have to go to the ticket office either.

Everything there was cool. Even the arches just walking in.

A guy on the tour with us had these tattoos. Alien on one calf and the Predator on the other.
