Italy Trip
Rome P.20
![]() Yea! The Pope Mobile appears! |
![]() I'm surprised we didn't get more pictures like this. Everyone stood on their chairs and the cameras went up above everyone's heads. |
![]() Can you find the Pope? |
![]() After he drove all through the audience, he drove up the stairs. |
![]() He sat down right in front of us! |
![]() He delivered a homily in Italian. Then he repeated it in French, German, Portuguese and English. |
![]() In-between each homily a priest would announce the various groups that were in attendance from that country. People would cheer. If it was a band, they'd play a song or a choir would sing. The Pope would acknowledge each group with a wave. |
![]() I just thought this picture was pretty. |
![]() After the announcements, the Pope greeted several Cardinals and officials. He then went to the opposite side that we were on to meet the people that were scheduled to meet him. |
![]() One of the bands that played while we were waiting and during the audience. |
![]() These guys sounded really cool! |
![]() After the greeted everyone that he was scheduled to greet, he came over to our side! |
