Lem came to live with us on Valentine's Day, 2015. His birthday is November 16, 2014. He was a Valentine's Day present for Bill. He's a tri-color Shih-Tzu. Our very first dog we got as a couple was a Shich-Tzu named Elmo. After Elmo got past his puppy stage he was an awesome dog! He was Bill's buddy. After Elmo passed Bill never had a buddy like him again. I always wanted to get another Shih-Tzu, hoping he'd be Bill's buddy. On Valentine's Day, 2015, Bill agreed to go to a breeder and look at Shih-Tzus and fell in love with Lem.

We've had him for about a month and he's starting to fit in with the dogs. The's a bit of a wild man compared to the older dogs we have but they're doing their best to keep up with him. His best playmate right now is Oliver. He's doing great at his housebreaking, he learned the doggie door after a week, and he's sleeping through the night. The only problem we have is his nose is so flat he wakes us up with his super loud snoring! The first month we had him we had 3 snowstorms, which is a bit unusual for us. He LOVED the snow. We hope he won't be disappointed when Summer rolls around, maybe he'll like to swim.
