I think these are female pronghorns.

The older females are babysitting the younger ones.

They didn't like us sitting there watching them. After about 10 minutes, they moved the whole group away.

Small hike to the next site.

They're hard to see but there are about 8 female elk. We knew the male was nearby. We didn't want to get too close and spook them

But they could see us, even from far away. This one kept her eye on us the whole time.

A few of them were looking at us. We saw the bull but he was in the woods and we couldn't get a good picture of him.

Hiking back to the car.

We drove about half a mile when we saw this bull by the side of the road. He was tearing apart some bushes.
