The Cathedral of Ypapanti in Fira. It was built on the site of an earlier church destroyed in the 1956 earthquake.

We didn't go inside. The tour was over and we were on our own from there. We wanted to get a drink.

We headed toward the shopping area to see what we could find.

That roof looked too hot to sit on. It was HOT! We wanted something with a roof.

We wanted a snack. The guy said they had "toast and cheese." We said OK.It sounded snack-ish. It turned out to be a grilled cheese sandwich, even better! He was nice. I asked him to teach me to say "Thank you" in Greek.

There were three ways to get back to the ship: walk down, ride a donkey or ride the cable car. There was no way we were walking, we saw the donkeys and felt bad for them so, cable car it was! We got free tickets with our tour.
