Majestic Theater
The whole reason for the road trip was the Rob Thomas concert in San Antonio. It was at the very cool Majstic Theater.

It's a GIANT statue. When we were taking this picture we overheard one girl saying, "I don't know, maybe he WAS that tall."

Nimitz Hotel Historic Marker
The Admiral Nimitz Museum was originally the Nimitz Hotel, builty by Nimitz's Grandfather, Charles Henry Nimitz, Sr.

The Nimitz family is from Fredericksburg. The Admiral Nimitz Museum and Pacific War Museum is on Main St.

A very pretty bird! He was in one of the shade gardens.

Ready to plant
We walked a little farther back and they had beds all ready for planting.

Once I started taking pictures, all the butterflies landed. Strange.

These cool lizards were everywhere in the gardens.

We thought this crepe myrtle was so cool. Ours are only one color.

There was a beatuiful shade garden planted underneath.

Windmill
It's hard to read the tail of the windmill but this is a classic Chicago Aermotor Windmill.

It's too bad it's so toxic. It's a very pretty bush!
