Green shag
We went up a different staircase to get out of the basement. This one had green shag rug on the walls. Nothing was boring in this house.

Traffic jam
It was kind of a mess getting down there. We ran in to another tour group going from the TV room to the pool room. They had to cross in front of the staircase.

Bill really liked this morrored staircase headed down to the basement.
Nope
You can't go upstairs. Our tour guide said Elvis didn't even let people go upstairs unless they were super close friends. He felt that was the only place he had his privacy so, no one was allowed upstairs unless they were invited. Not even the staff at Graceland can go upstairs without permission from the family.
