Mystery noise

As we passed a part of the island where people live, we heard a lot of yelling and whistles. We also saw a lot of flashes of light.

Very tropical

In the afternoon our tour guide pointed out where the Tropicana was as we passed by. It looked like a bunch of trees. I couldn't even see where it was in there. It's very tropical!

The tree is lit!

The little boy on the floor next to the Captain and the Cruise Director. Once the tree was lit, a shower on confetti/fake snow came down from the floor above us.

Lighting the Christmas tree

We picked this cruise both because it was headed to Cuba and we think Holland does Christmas better than the other cruise lines we've been on.

Took a while

It took a while. On the way we were even stopped by some peope who were lost and they asked us for directions. We had to tell them we were Americans and had no idea.

Back to the hotel

Now that we checked out the shops we actually had to find our way back to the hotel. This was a VERY different way back and in the dark.

We got off at the right stop but we saw this street with cute Christmas lights and shops so we decided to walk back a different way. Hopefully we'd find our way back.
