It was so warm it was hard to think it's Christmas season. There also weren't many Christmas decorations around Cuba. Our guide told us the government, until Fidel Castro's last year, discouraged religion and not many people there celebrate Christmas. In Fidel Castro's last few years, he turned more to religion and the country is following a bit.
I just liked it. It was in the lobby.
The tour included lunch. It was at the Hotel Jagua.

The building to the right is part of the university. The pink hotel down the street is where Ernest Hemmingway used to stay.
We couldn't go far without another political sign.
I had a can of hairspray in my suitcase in a large baggie. When I opened my suitcase the top had been sheared off, I guess through rough handling. When the sprayer was knocked off it sprayed the entire can of spray inside the baggie. My towel was next to it and, somehow, hairspray got on the towel. I had to wash it. Luckily it's a fast-dry towel (I always travel with it and the small laundry soap sheets on the side of the sink). It was good in time for the cruise!
Usually I wouldn't have shown the TV but they set this one up where you could spin it if you wanted to watch TV in the bed room or living room. It was pretty cool!
Bill surprised me with a mini suite!
The next morning, time to check out. There were more people at the pool than I thought there would be. It was kinda cool.
The hotel had the coolest textures. The lobby had columns that looked like metal fabric but it was metal but then the stuff that looked like metal was fabric. This pattern was on the back wall of the elevator. They had the collest fabrics and textures everywhere you looked.
Back at the hotel. We didn't do that well gambling. I kept meaning to take a photo of these "EP" lamps in the hallways.
We didn't get a chance to take a photo when we arrived so we took one now. It was such a nice day!
