A SUPER fancy and famous hotel in Marrakech. Very nice!
Oasis
It looks a bit like an oasis in this shot.
Lots of green
We really expected at some point for there to be some desert but there wasn't. Even when there weren't crops, they had grass growing.
Cactus farm
We saw a lot of these fields full of cacti. I think they're cactus farms, they're too square to not be on purpose.
Farm land
We both thought going from Casablanca to Marrakech would be desert. We were very surprised it was all farm land! Very lush!
More rustic
On the outskirts of Casablanca.
Nice park!
A pretty park on the way out of town.

This is more like it. Having a coffee outside!
Off the ship!
We had to walk to the end of the pier to find our tours!
Buccaneer's Wet & Wild
The kiddie pool at the back of the ship was really cool! We went to see it while we waited to disembark.
Casablanca port
The picture I had of Casablanca in my mind and the reality of the modern city were miles apart!
Up super early
It's going to be a long day today. We're stopping at Casablanca, Morocco but our excursion is in Marrakech, 4 hours away by bus.

La Trattoria
Tonight for dinner we ate at La Trattoria, Italian food. Bill had his favorite, tomato and buffalo mozzerella salad.
