All along the rails, everyone was watching.
Photographers
Almost everyone had a camera or cell phone, taking pictures and video coming in to port.
Watching
A lot of people came out to see us pull in to port. This was the inaugural cruise for Holland America to Cuba so, they made a big deal about it. We heard the CEO as well as some of the higher execs were on board.
Faro Castillo del Morro
The Morro Castle and lighthouse (faro) is one of the symbols of Havana and one of the most visited places by tourists. Completed in the 17th century, it has been photographed and painted by many and has also appeared in several movies.
Havana!
I'm not sure what I expected Havana to look like. It wasn't this huge city.
Beautiful day!
The Captain made an announcement that the front of the ship would be open as we pulled in to Havana. We went up there to take pictures as we pulled in to port! It looked like it was going to be a beautiful day!

When we got back to our room we had these waiting for us. Tomorrow is our first day in Cuba, We were on Holland's inaugural cruise to Cuba. They gave us these Cuban flags and pins to wear and wave when we pulled in to port in the morning.
