Day 8. Sienna.

A vineyard along the way.

It was pretty everywhere we went.

It all looked like a postcard.

The first time we had to get gas. We had to read the instructions. It was different than the pumps in the U.S.

These yellow flowers were everywhere. I could even see them from the plane.

Just like in Cortona and Assisi, we had to park at the bottom of the hill and walk.

We could only see a little part of Sienna.

We were SO happy to see escalators up to Assisi! There were 7 escalators to get up to the top.

The first place we came to was the Piazza San Francesco.

We couldn't get in to the church so went in to a side door.

It was the school.
