Mom and Dad came up Thursday afternoon. Bill wanted to go out to Buca di Beppo for his birthday dinner.

Mom and Dad made Bill the BEST carrot cake. 

It was really good!.

We left Saturday morning for Shreveport. We stopped at the Dairy Palace for lunch.

Home of World Famous Hamburgers.

They were very good hamburgers. 

We made it to Shreveport, gambled for the whole day and ended up at the Boomtown for Happy Hour.

They had really good margaritas and fajitas.

The cake definitely came with us. We went back to the hotel for dessert.

The next day we started out at Harrah's.

In the late afternoon we were doing pretty well but we needed to take a break so we went back to the hotel for a little bit.
